4. Do I have to be a member of another program to use Start Page Clicks?
No, you do not need to be a member of any particular startpage exchange to use Start Page Clicks. We do not endorse, recommend or suggest any individual startpage exchange over any other either publicly or privately. Each member has their own "favorite" exchange or collection of exchanges they may use, and we do not attempt in any way to disagree, as each person knows best what works for their own needs. The advertising exchanges each member chooses to use is completely open to each member and there are no minimum or maximum requirements.
If you wish to focus building your downline in any particular exchanges, you may use the completely custom "Top Exchanges Page" where you may include the exchanges you prefer. If an exchange is not listed within the Start Page Clicks system that you would like to promote, please contact us with a suggestion to add it into the system for you.
5. What do I do if I already am a member of another program?
You can use your own program URL as your registered website and if your program is listed within the Members Area, you can add your referral ID also there.
Not from Start Page Clicks directly, as it is not a payment-based system. There is no "joining fee", "monthly membership" or "upgrades" of any kind required for you or any member to use Start Page Clicks. We do not charge for services nor operate an MLM-type payment system.
There are some exchanges listed within Start Page Clicks that offer referral commissions for upgraded members. But we do not endorse, recommend or suggest any individual option given by websites that are listed in the Start Page Clicks directory. The choices of your participation are completely up to you.
7. How does the ad tracking work?
The free optional ad tracker works by letting you set up click tracking for links to your own Start Page Clicks Pages. When you use the ad tracker, the ad tracker will keep and display click stats to you. This is all done in real-time, so you can see how your links are working for you anytime.
8. How long before my Start Page Clicks pages are updated?
Your Start Page Clicks pages with your referral links are created by you in real-time. When ever you do any updates or changes in your Member Area, changes to your member pages are effective immediately, so if anything needs added or changed, you can do it quickly and easily.
9. Where can I add my website to StartPageClicks.com?
When you register for your StartPageClicks.com membership your website name and URL are entered in the sign up form. Your registered website will be linked from most public areas of StartPageClicks.com as seen at the top of this page: "This Start Page Clicks System is presented by (Member Name) Visit (Member Website) Here". Your own name and website name (linked to your URL) will be shown like the one above to all the visitors to StartPageClicks.com that enter from your own referral link.
Whenever you Rate an Exchange in the directory, you can also enter your StartPageClicks.com member ID to get a free link to your website on the Thank You page for that exchange. Then when other members and visitors rate that same exchange, they will see your website name and link, also, on the Thank You page they see.

11. How do I add my website to your program and how does it direct traffic to my site?
When you register for a Start Page Clicks account your website is added by you on the registration form. Your website link is then seen by visitors you refer to Start Page Clicks.
The exchanges you choose to use send visitors to your website are where the majority of traffic comes from. Start Page Clicks is for gaining referrals in traffic exchanges since more referrals equals more free traffic for your websites!
Start Page Clicks is not for directly delivering thousands of visits to your website. It IS designed to help you use startpage exchange programs to their maximum benefit of free unlimited visitors to your website.
12. Do I get credit for the Banner Ads that are on the public area pages?
Yes, this is a free option to all members to earn extra free advertising in the form of Banner Ad Impressions which can be used to advertise anything, not just StartPageClicks.com.
The banners will link to the username/member ID (yes, your own) you may enter for designated startpage exchange programs that also offer moderated banner exchanging to their free members, also.
Please Note: There is no upgrading, set-up fee or charges of any kind associated with this exchange feature. It will simply give you the option of earning banner ad impressions with which you can use to promote your own website.
There is an absolute maximum limit of 2 banners per page, 1 full-sized at the top of select pages, and 1 small-sized (button size) banner in the left-column of select pages. This will keep the page loading times at a very reasonable amount of seconds and maximize results for all members.
After extensive in-house review and long-term use, we are able to ensure that all banner ads displayed on Start Page Clicks pages remain 100% family-safe.
13. Do I have to be a Member to Rate an exchange?
No you do not need to be a Start Page Clicks member to rate an exchange.
You do not need to be a member to host a remote Rating button to let others rate an exchange from your web page.
Both members and visitors are welcome to rate any or all exchanges in the directory. However, there is a limit of rating each exchange only 1 time per person (IP Address).
14. What do the Exchange Ratings Mean?
Exchange Ratings are results of rating by members and visitors to Start Page Clicks for exchange programs in 3 categories: Traffic Delivery, Member Support and Account Features. There is no "scientific" standard behind the ratings, they are simply the opinions of people who have chosen to add their opinions to the Ratings.
Rating for all categories for all exchange programs started as 5.0 (meaning average), and will increase (up to 10) or decrease (down to 1) depending on how members and visitors rate each.
It is quick & easy to Rate the Exchanges You use! Ratings can help new Start Page Clicks members and visitors see which exchanges are delivering great results for their members!
15. If I put my Start Page Clicks ID in other Start Page or click sharing sites, will that show my web page when someone opens their browser?
When they use the click sharing site, yes. If you put your Start Page Clicks ID referral link(s) into click sharing sites, your web page will be seen in those exchanges, yes. You can pick whatever page you want, the main page, a letter page like the "W" page, the Newest Exchanges page or your own Top Exchanges page.
You can make your own Top Exchanges page by logging in to your Member Area and clicking "Top Exchanges" (it's right under "Edit Your Pages" in the Member Menu on the left-hand side). In that Member Area section you can pick which exchanges you want to be sure visitors to your Start Page Clicks link see. Just choose "Show" or "No Show" and click "Save Change". Your Top Exchanges page is updated in real-time.
You can get direct links with your referral ID for that page, or any other page in the "Get Your Ad Codes" section (click the link right under "Promotional Links" in the left-hand side Member Menu in your member area.
